At glaxhrexei, we take pride in delivering high-quality clothing alteration services. We are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with our work. This Return Policy outlines our policies regarding adjustments, refunds, and our satisfaction guarantee for alteration services.

Nature Of Alteration Services

Please understand that clothing alterations are permanent modifications to your garments. Unlike retail products, altered garments cannot be returned to their original state once work has been completed. Therefore, traditional returns are not applicable to our services. However, we stand behind the quality of our work and offer adjustment services to ensure your satisfaction.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We guarantee that all alterations will be completed to professional standards. If you are not satisfied with the fit or quality of our work, we will make it right. Our satisfaction guarantee includes one free adjustment within seven days of collecting your garment, provided the issue is related to the work we performed.

Free Adjustments

If you find that the altered garment does not fit as discussed or if you are unhappy with the quality of the alteration, we offer one complimentary adjustment within seven days of collection. To be eligible for a free adjustment, you must bring the garment back unworn and unwashed, with all original tags if applicable. The adjustment must be related to the original alteration work we performed.

What Is Covered

Our satisfaction guarantee covers workmanship issues including incorrect measurements or fitting as per your specifications, stitching quality concerns, hem or seam alignment problems, and any other issues directly related to the alteration work we performed.

What Is Not Covered

Our guarantee does not cover certain situations beyond our control. We cannot be held responsible for change of mind after alterations have been completed based on your approved specifications, damage to garments caused by wear after collection, pre-existing damage or flaws in the fabric that were not disclosed at the time of service, or alterations to garments made of delicate or aged fabrics where damage risk was discussed and accepted.

Additionally, we cannot guarantee results for garments that have not been cleaned or washed before alteration, as fabric shrinkage may occur. Issues arising from incorrect measurements provided by the customer are also not covered, though we always recommend trying on garments during fitting appointments.

Refund Policy

Due to the permanent nature of alteration work and the custom service provided, we generally do not offer refunds once work has been completed. However, if we are unable to complete your alteration to your satisfaction after a reasonable attempt at adjustment, or if we determine that the requested alteration cannot be performed as originally discussed, we will provide a full refund of the service fee.

When Refunds Apply

Refunds are provided in the following circumstances: if we cancel your alteration service before beginning work for any reason, if we cause irreparable damage to your garment due to our error, or if we determine after inspection that we cannot complete the requested alteration safely or effectively.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the best results from our alteration services, customers are responsible for providing accurate information about how they want the garment to fit, including trying on garments during fitting appointments when offered. Please disclose any special care requirements or concerns about the garment fabric, and inspect your garment upon collection and notify us immediately of any concerns.

You should collect altered garments within 30 days of notification. After 90 days, uncollected garments may be donated to charity or disposed of at our discretion.

Damage And Liability

While we exercise the utmost care with every garment, we cannot accept liability for damage to delicate, aged, or fragile fabrics where the risk was discussed and accepted by the customer. We are not responsible for colour bleeding, shrinkage, or other issues related to uncleaned garments or hidden defects in the fabric.

If we cause damage to your garment due to our error, we will repair the damage at no cost where possible, or compensate you for the reasonable value of the garment up to a maximum of five times the alteration service fee.

Inspection Upon Collection

We strongly encourage you to inspect your garment thoroughly upon collection while you are still in our shop. This allows us to address any concerns immediately. If you notice any issues, please bring them to our attention before leaving. Once you leave our premises, it becomes more difficult to determine whether issues existed at the time of collection or occurred afterwards.

Timeframe For Claims

Any concerns about the quality or fit of our alteration work must be raised within seven days of collecting your garment. After this period, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to address the issue, as we cannot verify whether the garment has been worn, washed, or otherwise altered since collection.

Special Occasion Garments

For wedding dresses, formal wear, and other special occasion garments, we recommend scheduling multiple fittings to ensure perfect fit. These garments require extra time and care, and we advise completing alterations at least two weeks before your event to allow time for any final adjustments.

Express Service

Express service requests are completed on a priority basis within 24 to 48 hours. Due to the accelerated timeframe, express service alterations receive the same quality guarantee but may have limited availability for adjustments. We recommend express service only for urgent situations where you have limited flexibility for subsequent fittings.

How To Request An Adjustment Or Refund

If you need to request an adjustment or have concerns about your altered garment, please contact us as soon as possible. You can visit our shop during business hours, call us, or send an email with details of your concern. Please bring your receipt and the garment in question. We will assess the issue and work with you to find a satisfactory solution.
